The Year 12 students’ trip to Paris was closely aligned with their academic programme, offering a more practical perspective on topics studied in class. Over several days, they experienced learning beyond the classroom — exploring historic sites, asking thoughtful questions, and connecting theory with real-life contexts. Combining heritage, career exploration and cultural exposure, the trip helped transform knowledge into meaningful experience.
At the Hôtel des Invalides, military and political history became more concrete. At ECAM-EPMI, students engaged with undergraduates and gained clearer insight into engineering pathways. Visiting the Panthéon, and standing before the tombs of Victor Hugo and Émile Zola, opened discussions about legacy and intellectual responsibility. At the Palais de Justice de Paris, they observed how the justice system functions in practice.
The programme also included visits to the Musée de l’Armée, the Tour Eiffel, the Petit Palais and the Théâtre Marigny, further enriching their cultural experience.
