It was an invaluable opportunity for families to immerse themselves in their children’s educational environment, to better understand how the school operates and to establish essential links with the teachers.
The program included a coffee reception and a plenary session with presentation of teachers by the Principal, Deputy Principal and Headmistress, status of building work, academic objectives, delivery of equipment, canteen. They also encouraged parents participation in school life with a presentation of the various school bodies and an announcement of parent elections to the School Council and School Board.
Parents then had the opportunity to ask questions before meeting the teachers in their classrooms. They were able to discuss the progress of their children’s schooling and their children’s specific needs. This meeting enabled everyone to get the school year off to a good start, making sure that pupils had the support and environment they needed.
