As part of this trip, designed as a practical extension of classroom learning, students visited the Atelier des Lumières, the Cité des Sciences et de l’Industrie, the Musée de l’Armée and Les Invalides with the tomb of Napoleon I, Notre-Dame Cathedral, the Musée Grévin, the Tuileries Garden, the Palace of Versailles, the Musée d’Orsay, the Trocadéro, the Parc des Princes, and the banks of the Seine.
The trip also included a picnic beneath the Eiffel Tower, sports activities, bowling, and free time.
Walking an average of around ten kilometres each day, students were able to connect what they had learned in class with real places, while also building independence and broadening their perspective of the world.
