Remembering the end of World War 1

On November 11, the LFLP commemorated the armistice that put an end to the fighting in France and Belgium during the First World War. Some of the solemn moments that marked this ceremony include speeches by the consul and the representative of the French souvenir, a short history lesson, and a reading of letters from soldiers on the frontline by the students. The ceremony ended with the presentation of the flag of the 1st Armored Division to the LFLP by the Association du Souvenir Français, and a performance of the French national anthem, La Marseillaise.
