The LFLP was bursting with activities on June 8 Funday. This long-awaited event brought together young and old for a day of fun and conviviality.
The school playground was transformed into a veritable amusement park. Bungee jumping, zip lines, bouncy castles, game truck… The children were able to play a multitude of games in complete safety, under the watchful eye of the activity leaders. A play area specially adapted for toddlers and a lounge where parents could relax and network were also available so that everyone could enjoy this festive day. The afternoon was marked by a number of Olympic competitions in which parents and children competed in some highly entertaining games such as team relays, sack races, tug-of-war…
To round off the Funday in style, the students put on a colourful cabaret show during a “French Night”, followed by a fashion show that delighted the entire audience.
We are grateful to all our generous sponsors. Access Bank, Zenith Bank, Baobab Microfinance, Peak and Tomi, to name but a few, made this exceptional event possible. Thanks to their support, the children were able to enjoy an unforgettable day full of games and entertainment. We would also like to extend our warmest thanks to our culinary vendors, including La Chaumière, Cactus, Peak, Grubs, Sugar Street, Lasgidi bakes, etc., who delighted the taste buds of young and old alike throughout the day.
The Funday was a real success thanks to everyone’s involvement: A big well done to all the students, sponsors and service providers who helped make the day such a magical occasion, and to the PVG who spared no effort in organising the event.
