The trip was an opportunity for them to discover the cultural wealth of Andalusia and to improve their command of the Spanish language.
The programme for the trip was based around visits to Andalusia. The pupils explored the city of Seville, the regional capital, where they admired the grandeur of the Cathedral and its Giralda tower, both UNESCO World Heritage Sites. They also immersed themselves in the wonders of the marine world at the Seville Aquarium and marvelled at the attractions of the Magic Island, an amusement park on the theme of the discovery of the Americas.
The discovery of Seville continued with a visit to the Plaza de España, a monumental square with remarkable architecture, and the María Luisa Park, a haven of peace with enchanting sculptures and pavilions. The pupils then let themselves be transported by the magic of the Hanging Forest, a unique trail through the heart of century-old trees. The 4e students were also able to immerse themselves in the local culture by taking part in a variety of activities.
This trip was an enriching and unforgettable experience for the 4th graders. They were able to open up to a new culture, improve their Spanish language skills and grow personally.
