8 mars 2020 – Journée internationale des droits de la femme au LFLP
Afin de fêter la journée internationale des droits de la femme au LFLP, le CDI, en collaboration avec plusieurs professeurs, a organisé une matinée hors du commun pour les élèves de 3èmes et les lycéens.
Jessica AJAYI, élève de Terminale Littéraire a ouvert la matinée par un discours ô combien inspirant sur la position de la femme dans notre société. Ensuite, Dalia FARDOUN et Al Amin AMUSAN, élèves de 1ère, nous ont projeté un reportage présentant l’avis de professeurs et de parents sur la question de la femme et sa place dans le monde sportif.
Nous avons ensuite reçu Mme Lara KAYODE, avocate à Lagos. Elle nous a parlé de grandes figures féminines du monde et des difficultés concrètes rencontrées par les femmes nigérianes dans le monde du travail.
Enfin, Mme THURSDALINE, énergique coach en self défense, a donné à nos élèves quelques bases pour se protéger et se défendre, exercices pratiques à l’appui !
Pour terminer cette belle matinée, les élèves de 3ème et seconde nous ont présenté une chorégraphie préparée la veille avec un danseur professionnel.
08 March 2020 International Women's Rights Day at the LFLP
In order to celebrate the international women’s rights day at the French International school, the secondary school’s library in collaboration with many teachers organized an extra- ordinary event for the senior classes.
Jessica AJAYI, student in Terminale L, did the opening with an inspiring speech on the position of the women in our society .Then Dalia FARDOUN and Al-amin AMUSAN, students in Première, presented a video projection, reporting about the opinions of parents and the teachers on the place of the woman in the field of sport.
We later received Mrs Lara KAYODE, a Lagos lawyer who talked about notable women in the world and the concrete difficulties encountered by Nigerian women in the world of work.
Finally Mrs. THURSDALINE, an energetic self defense coach gave our students some basic technics on how to protect and defend themselves with practical examples.
To round the interesting event, the senior students presented a choreographic dance they had earlier prepared and practiced with Mr Jude, a professional choreographic.
