The central Africa zone games in Lome

From April 15 to 20, the LFLP participated in the first ZAC games alongside the Blaise Pascal and Mermoz high schools of Abidjan, Jacques Prévert of Accra Ghana, Montaigne of Cotonou and of course the French high school of Lomé, organizer of the first edition. Over three days of competition, our students got down and dirty in competing against their counterparts and finished fifth in the general ranking.

The whole delegation was younger than the others (more than half of the team was in seconde against the other delegations’ Terminale students) and did not disappoint by placing 4th in soccer, 3rd in swimming, 2nd in cultural quiz, 5th in volleyball and 6th in basketball and dance. A lot of training ahead therefore, before the next edition in Abidjan!

Congratulations to the students and their teachers, and speedy recovery to the goalkeeper who got injured on the first day of competition.
