A HOST OF ACTIVITIES TO MARK WOMEN’S RIGHTS DAY

On March 27, LFLP students and teachers got together to celebrate women’s achievements and reaffirm their commitment to gender equality. The day began with a presentation by the Terminales, tracing the careers of women who have marked the history of the Olympic Games. Students discovered examples of perseverance, courage and talent through these pioneering athletes and contemporary figures.

The presentation was followed by an inspiring self-defense workshop led by Thursdaline Peter, international Taekwondo referee. Sharing her journey and challenges, she encouraged students to overcome barriers and believe in their potential. The day ended with a soccer match between mixed student-teacher teams. In a spirit of camaraderie and fair play, this symbolic encounter celebrated the team spirit and collective strength of women. The event was part of the school’s commitment to promoting equal opportunities and giving students the means to achieve their full potential.
